We officially get three more seconds of daylight today, though
since we still will lose daylight in the morning all the way into January it is
going to be difficult to convince my body that the winter is progressing.
I’m off the bike for the next week, and am looking forward to a
switch in the training. The weather
around her is too cold/cruddy to ride outside (alas, I have no fat bike…), and
the ski conditions have worsened of late (alas, I have no rock skis). So I’m temporarily back to the life of a
runner.
Benefits? You’re done
quickly, you warm up fast outside, you can listen to the i-pod during your
workout, and you can do it in any temperature.
Downside? I miss the bike…

That sounds like my training plans for January. Trail running, trail running and more of the same! Looking forward to it :)
